Founder Story
Sandrah Gilbert
With over three decades of hands-on experience in hospitality, Sandrah Samantha Gilbert embodies the spirit of resilience and excellence. Her career began more than 30 years ago as a janitor—where humility met ambition. From there, she advanced through housekeeping, mastering attention to detail, and into front office operations, where her natural people skills flourished. In the Food & Beverage department, serving as a waiter, she gained a deep understanding of guest satisfaction and service excellence.
Her curiosity of adventure and travel getting the better of her lead her to tour guiding of Southern Africa with international groups and private travelers. As they say“the world is your oyster”. She later rose to Operations Manager, then General Manager for several, luxury camps and boutique lodges, overseeing the inner workings of the business with strategic insight and care. Sandrah leads with unmatched experience, compassion, and a commitment to mentorship.
